Stretford Municipal Borough Council
Stretford Municipal Borough Council was established in 1933, superseding the Stretford Urban District Council following Stretford's municipal charter of incorporation. The borough council was later abolished in 1974 when the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford was established by the Local Government Act (1972).
