Baguley Hall
Baguley Hall is a Grade I listed building[1] on Hall Lane in Baguley, Manchester. It is said to be the oldest surviving building in Manchester,[2] as it's believed to date back to 1320.[3]
History
In November 2025, Historic England announced that it had selected Heritage Trust North West to be the new owner of Baguley Hall, for the purpose of maintaining it and allowing public access in the future.[4] The transfer of ownership was to be done for no upfront payment, as the cost to repair Baguley Hall outweighs the potential market value.[3] Heritage Trust North West hopes to initially host public events on the grounds as soon as 2026.[5]
