History

Most of Davyhulme Road East is part of the historical path of Longford Brook, which was there until the road was constructed. It's uncertain what happened to that particular segment of the brook, but it likely continues to flow underneath Davyhulme Road East in a culvert.

The road was initially built at some point between 1915 and 1933. In 1929 the road itself appears to have existed but it did not have any properties on the eastern end. In 1930, Stretford Urban District Council borrowed £26,886 for completing the construction of both Davyhulme Road East and Park Road.[1]
