Sale is a town in Trafford, situated to the south of Stretford and north of Altrincham. It's well-connected to Manchester city centre thanks to Sale Tram Stop and local bus routes.
Town centre
Sale's town centre is essentially Sale Bridge, School Road and the surrounding streets. Sale Bridge crosses over both the Bridgewater Canal and the Metrolink tram line, with Sale Tram Stop being situated underneath. School Road stems from the bridge and contains Sale Town Hall, and along with Stanley Square they form Sale's shopping precinct.
