Shady Lane is a distributor road in Baguley, Manchester. It connects Altrincham Road at the north to a residential estate at the south. Between the two, it features a bridge over railway tracks and was home to the former site of Baguley Railway Station which was demolished in the late 20th century.

Shady Lane is part of the Brooklands ward for local councillor elections.[2] The current councillors are Susan Cooley, Glynn Evans and Dave Marsh, all of whom are part of the Labour Party.[3]

UK Parliament

Shady Lane is part of the Wythenshawe and Sale East constituency, being represented in Parliament by the Labour MP Mike Kane since 2014.[4][5]
