Timpson Road
Timpson Road is a street in Baguley, Manchester. It contains only commercial properties, and has existed since the late 1950s or early 1960s. It was named after the Timpson company, which built Timpson House as their headquarters on the east end of the street where it connects to Southmoor Road.
History
Construction of Timpson Road began at some point between 1958 and 1966, and it was constructed at the same time that Timpson built a new headquarters, Timpson House, with an adjoining warehouse. Today these sites are occupied by Tesco Baguley and Lidl respectively.
